Cons
You won't be paid more than 40-45k, regardless of experience; employees are basically hired based on who will accept the lowest salary. You'll likely be insulted by any offer extended (example: salaries basically determined by how little a company in California can legally get away with paying its employees without breaking labor laws).
Management is a nightmare. Employees are very undervalued. Everyone is expected to work 60-80 hour weeks, with absolutely no remote work allowed, and they even give various punishments for work-week tardiness.
There is no CTO, nor is there a single technology person in-house. To make matters worse, the company execs do not have experience working in (let alone running) a company in the technology space at all, so being at beGlammed feels comparable to being in the backseat of a car going 100mph, with a blind and deaf driver at its wheel; the Founder is a MUA who doesn't hold any kind of 4-year acclaimed university degree, the CEO is an attorney with even less relevant experience, & the CSO, prior to beglammed, was a health counselor. They are in desperate, desperate need of someone with an MBA to come in and overhaul the entire operation.
To their credit, the structure is a disorganized mess, so my experience being there is nothing more than a reflection of the disarray with which it operates. The lack of professionalism is also quite shocking.
