Pros
Enjoyable responsibilites, and there are opportunities for further professional development.
Cons
Problems in the boutique aren't always fixed even after informing upper management, it was a very toxic environment (cliques galore), and their handling of the pandemic was horrendous. Most of the employees at my shop (as well as the neighboring shops) got COVID, and you were expected to go to work the next day even after being exposed and without your results back. The way they would 'clean' after an infestation was to fumigate the boutique, which would leave product and every inch within the shop coated in a film of chemicals, and they wouldn't allow a staff of no more than 2 more than 2 hours to clean everything. Work-life balance was virtually nonexistent, be prepared to get guilted into coming in even if you have no time for a proper break.
