Pros

Schedule is super flexible. Set your own hours a week in advance. If you miss for some reason, super understanding and let you make up hours. New Chat App feature to speak with auditors while coding a chart, if you have questions.

Cons

Little to no communication from supervisors or corp. Lack of charts and projects. Turnover rate in upper management is unnerving. They continued to hire more coders, even though the current FT coders couldn't hit 40 hours a week due to lack of charts.

Thank you for your feedback. Our flexible schedule has always been one of our high points. The coding department is currently undergoing structural changes. The changes will help with communication issues. Better communication with our remote employees is one of our top concerns.

Pros

Most of the people in the office are incredibly kind, and supportive. I have never felt so welcomed by my co-workers in the number of offices that I've worked at. The casual work environment, and loose dress code are some of the reasons I can stand working here. My immediate supervisor has been one of the best people I've worked under, and even he has to essentially apologize for how terribly they treat us here.

Cons

The very low salaries. Comparatively in my field, the average income is $20/hr, and here they pay $12/hr. They take advantage of the limited job market to completely gouge everyone in my field just because they know it will take months to find another position at another company. The constant additions to my workload, by project management, and auditing are absolutely insane, and all for no compensation. The talks of a pay increase have fallen on deaf ears. Asking for a meeting to discuss this keeps getting met with constant emails postponing the meeting, just so they can sweep me under the rug and forget about me. In the end all I can say is that if you can put up with getting payed almost nothing for doing a crazy amount of work, but want a more casual work environment this company is for you. Bagels on Friday are still pretty great though.
