Pros

Yaletown office, experience working in AAA office buildings

Cons

Owner is a manipulative & unethical. She re-formats trade bid documents to suit the price she wants to present to the client and the subcontractor she wants to award the work. Pays the designer/project managers way below market wages and assigns an impossible workload while she wines and dines leasing agents. Universally hated by building managers and sub-trades. Nothing is ever her fault, blames inexperienced/junior staff for her mistakes. Lies saying staff were fired when they rightfully quit because of the toxic workplace she creates. Rip-offs off employees of reimbursements.

I worked at allspaces for months... and it was the worst experience of my life. It was so stressful, I would have to bring my work home because I was in charge of 7 plus projects. You get worked like a dog there, I didn’t even have any project management experience.... or construction experience but I was hired at a project manager.. which makes so sense. The work environment is sooooo horrible, you can hear the owner talking crap about other people... calling them names and being nasty. She loves putting herself on a pedestal and making other people feel stupid or unworthy. I would totally not recommend this place to anyone, working here is a waste of time. The company has no standard... cad drawings are a mess. Trades are constantly talking crap about allspaces.

Pros

Good place to get experience, but only if you don't stay long enough to be put off the industry for good.

Cons

Owner is abusive, trash talks former staff and competitors, is never at fault for anything even if her neglect caused the problem. Lots of whispering behind peoples backs. Poor pay, average benefits, people are pitted against each other until they're pushed out. No overtime pay.
