Pros

A great deal of individual autonomy and zero accountability - a pro for those who enjoy underachieving. Abundant happy hours and fine dining. Great opportunity for advancement into positions that can set the foundation for the next position elsewhere.

Cons

Misguided management team and practices. Shoot from the hip mentality with zero strategic regard to developing the business. Very misandrous new program in the company that many find divisive and misrepresented - aimed at dismantling the corporate structures they try consulting to. Mismanaged 401(k) program. Intentional obfuscation by management. Major data integrity issues. Recycled data from previous years that is advertised as current - a result of declining survey participation.

Zweig Group Response

There are many incorrect statements in both the pros and cons of this review. Unfortunately, this review is clearly written to hurt the company and people who remain employed here. We've worked hard to consistently provide better and better benefits, including the 401k matching program. There were some bumps in year one due to errors on the third party administrator side, but we've got those worked out and the program is running as intended. Our data is the best in the industry and we never re-use old data. We don't have to with over 2.6 million data points per year. The misandrous program referenced is a diversity program that we are very proud to champion in the industry. Everyone in this company cares deeply about each other and the clients they serve.

Pros

1. Zweig Group has a brand name that is widely recognized in the AEC industry and this gives employees the opportunity to work with awesome clients. 2. The team is awesome. Kind and intelligent people that want to see you succeed. 3. Amazing flexibility. Ability to work from home as much as you'd like as long as you are dependable and trustworthy. 4. If you choose to accept responsibility, it will be given to you and you can run with it. This creates great learning opportunities where you can quickly gain experience that will accelerate your career.

Cons

1. There is a con to the workplace flexibility in that many people choose to work from home. If you are a person that prefers to go into the office often, you may not have a lot of company some days. 2, Turnover was a bit of an issue in my time there as people moved on to exciting opportunities, so a lot of time was spent trying to iron out turnover related issues and project responsibilities.
