Pros

lots of incentives to earn - its feels good to get rewarded for doing a good job and working hard - I've worked in places where it wasn't even noticed let alone rewarded unlimited overtime - more money & more opportunities to make money

Cons

High pressure environment where skill doesn't always mean success - you need to be comfortable with not being the best but wanting to learn everyday and giving 110% effort everyday to get the most out of it will have to say goodbye to the odd Saturday/Sunday or off day

Pros

Free cans of drink Nice views of Manchester on some floors

Cons

Oh boy where to start, the company hires big groups every 2 weeks, usually 15 people at a time, that should give you an idea of turnover... The carrot is obviously the promise of high commissions if you hit your targets, the stick and what they don't put in the brochure: - Your entire comms are docked for literally anything, QA, say one word wrong, don't sell enough warranties, you're losing up to 50% - OT is paid at 1.5x pay, what they don't mention is if you don't hit target you don't get paid at all for overtime (I'm pretty sure that's illegal) - The Sales Managers are all clones who micromanage every second of your day, everything you do is measured, not just call call time, breaks, wiping your nose. - You are basically gaslit into thinking the Zuto way, if you disagree with practise or their views, you'll be shamed in front of the entire sales floor and accused of 'not getting it' - You're selling too poor souls who have terrible credit and you are then berated when a customer won't accept a 46% APR - You're expected to work way past your hours of 8:30am - 6pm, if you don't, you'll be bullied

Thank you for sharing your honest perspective. We’re sorry to hear that your time at Zuto didn’t live up to your expectations. As a high-performance, high-growth business, we never want that drive to come at the cost of our team’s wellbeing or work-life balance. We’re always looking at ways we can better support our team and ensure everyone feels energised. Regarding our pay and commission structure, we aim for it to be both fair and rewarding; hearing that this wasn't your experience is concerning to us. We value your feedback and we’ll use it to review our processes for our teams. We wish you the best in your next chapter.

Pros

Most of the pros have either been taken away or not fulfilled.

Cons

If you're considering Zuto, pay close attention to what you're promised during the interview process — and get it in writing. We were told one day a week in the office. That became three. We were promised 10% of our time for learning and development. That was scrapped without explanation. Career progression and pay rises? Don't hold your breath. The path simply doesn't exist for most people. The bonus structure is particularly frustrating. It's opaque and inconsistent — some people receive them, some don't, and there's a distinct feeling that management spend more energy finding reasons not to pay them than they do rewarding good work. Management themselves, of course, always seem to do fine. The result of all this? Around ten software engineers - roughly half the department handed in their notice within the space of a month. That's not a blip. That's a culture problem.
