Pros
Great company culture - collaborative and supportive Benefits - you can buy up to 20 days of holiday and has had a flexible working policy before covid Staff events are great and fairly frequent - always something to look forward to Managers are generally really friendly and easy to get on with
Cons
There is red tape when it comes to wanting to further your career with qualifications, it takes time to be reviewed and implemented. Salary negotiations don't take place upon being hired, so it is recommended to just say the highest figure possible and let them adjust it down accordingly. I made the mistake of saying what my absolute minimum was, the HR rep then said, we can do that for you then ended the conversation promptly and tried to focus on the 12% non-contributory pension you get as an employee. The pension is great, but it doesn't make up for a lower salary.
