Pros
Great product, strong market share
Cons
Highly recommend NOT working for ZoomInfo. CEO publicly stated that ZoomInfo was layoff-proof and constantly growing. What didn’t make the news is that the CEO lied to everyone’s face and quietly laid off hundreds of employees across departments including myself to try and save face. Leadership decided to withhold bonus payments from 2022 until Feb. 28th instead of being paid at end of January so that they could terminate employment and not have to pay out the bonuses that were due. There is clear and present favoritism and nepotism within the company, directors/managers are allowed to hire friends and former colleagues from places like Staples and Lionbridge and allow them to report directly to them and are paid far more money than those that worked there way up internally. Leads are distributed to leaderships’ “favorites” rather than to the most successful reps. Customers are shafted by lack of training and quality experience, or harassed by a terrible SDR motion where they are taught to call 6-7 times a day. Leadership has no SaaS experience and cannot teach you how to be an effective seller or lead by example. No segmentation or territory alignment and books of business constantly change hands. Acquisitions have led to messy integrations, lack of culture, and headaches for all employee. “Unlimited PTO” is a myth. Not allowed to take vacations or time off, black out periods like retail where you have to work. The stupidest thing of all is that every employee is expected to slave through Christmas and New Years while the rest of the working world is spending time with families because “it’s our busiest time of the year”. Oh and did I mention that ZoomInfo is not a diverse place to work? At Presidents Club in 2022 the CEO was called out at a public event for every single attendee being white.
