Thanks for sharing your experience as an employee of the ZoomInfo Product team. It doesn’t reflect the experience we envision for our team and I’d be happy to connect with you personally to help change the trajectory of your experience if you’re open to the conversation.
One of the things I love most about working at ZoomInfo is the pace at which we innovate and launch new products. As someone who straddles both Product Management and Product Marketing, I get to see both sides.
We have a talented Product team that is incredibly focused on supporting customer use cases and a talented engineering team that partners closely with us to develop products and capabilities quickly and effectively and with the end-user in mind. On the Product Marketing side, the pace of innovation and development makes for a dynamic and exciting environment where we have the opportunity to continually bring new capabilities to market to support and serve our customers’ needs.
Because we are adaptive to changes in the business landscape, mindful of our weaknesses, and attentive to our customers, we do move quickly to make improvements to our solutions and ourselves. This adaptability is a key to our long-term success. It’s valued by our customers, rewarding and career-defining for employees, and leads to positive business results.
At the same time, we have a clear north star vision for what we are building at ZoomInfo: a modern revenue operating system, built upon a foundation of best-in-class GTM intelligence that unlocks the growth potential of businesses and business professionals. As a product org, we are focused on delivering an integrated product experience across multiple products that we’ve both built and acquired. We’re planning for the long term in how we build infrastructure and products to support our customers' needs across first and third-party data at scale, and we’re developing unified platform components that can be developed once and deployed across each of our platforms (SalesOS, MarketingOS, OperationsOS, and TalentOS) in support of related use cases.
As a leadership team, we encourage work-life balance, but also empower the team to take on new challenges, stretch themselves and grow in ways they never thought possible. Many at ZoomInfo feel they have the opportunity to do more and bigger things than they’ve ever done in a condensed period of time. Change and adaptability can be uncomfortable at times - even for me, but on the other hand, I have found that the thrill and excitement from the growth has been unparalleled. I’ve also taken the reins on my own work-life balance and I encourage my team to do the same. Take time off, recharge. I go skiing, hiking, spend time with family, vacation, and go to my kids' school events even when they’re during the workday. There’s no shortage of challenging work to engage our team at ZoomInfo, but we all need to set up boundaries and take time to ourselves and that belief is shared across ZoomInfo.
Again, please reach out if you’d like to discuss how I can help support you in any of these areas.
- Justin Withers, ZoomInfo SVP, Product Strategy & Product Marketing
