Pros

Have to put something so good product.

Cons

Where does someone even begin? This is the most toxic culture I have ever witnessed in my professional career. Upper leadership has absolutely no clue how to manage employees. Work life balance is non existent in all departments; told us we were expected to work until midnight New Year’s Eve to close deals and told reps they needed people to work Thanksgiving. On top of that, management doesn't care about your wellbeing or mental health. People are guilted about taking time off, and are texted or called when they are off asking about the status of their deals. on the last day of the month leadership volunteered all managers to be available all night to close deals. This puts those with families and a life outside of this company in a very difficult position. Bullying in the workplace is part of the culture. Management reveals confidential information about other employees, complains about them behind their back, and/or makes fun of them as if we are in high school. They also believe fear based motivation is the way to go - putting people on display in front of hundreds of their peers and criticizing them to the point of embarrassment. It is a shame because the product is decent but the individuals they put in leadership roles diminish everything. The entire company is a walking clone of each other.. Profit over people is true in previous reviews. Please consider taking a job here and only do so if you are desperate. Keep in mind - they love to cover their negative reviews with fake positive ones to keep up their good ratings.

Thank you for your feedback. We regret that you had a poor experience working at ZoomInfo. We are concerned by your reports of bullying and improper use of confidential information. This behavior does not reflect our values and is not commensurate with the workplace we strive to build for our employees. With respect to work/life balance, it’s important to note that we have a high-octane, sales-driven culture. Our sales organization prides itself on providing top quality customer service, which means we are working when our customers are working. We do have staff working on Thanksgiving, but this is on a voluntary basis and can be very lucrative due to our uncapped commission policy for some sales roles. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. If you would like to discuss any of these concerns further, please contact us at HRfeedback@zoominfo.com. -Paige, Employee Experience

Pros

There is so much growth and opportunity within the company! I feel like our company is so "with it" with guides and new tools being brought in (especially now in the age of AI) that support our explosive improvements in both short and long term goals. The company has supported me with any resource I've needed and keeps me excited about "what's next". I feel like I become better each day and am so grateful for my team's support when going through anything difficult as well. I feel cared for and appreciated.

Cons

The IT/software industry comes with more volatility in markets so while that's not the most comfortable, I know that consistency and the good actions we take every day is what makes me and our company successful in the long-run.

Pros

Good pay, good benefits and great office.

Cons

Poor hiring decisions, recent layoffs eliminated mostly remote employees because they are prioritizing in office employees, especially with recent investment in office. RIF was not at all based on performance which meant that some in office employees who don't know what they are doing got to keep their job. You have to suck up to management to get promoted and a lot of really good reps leave as a result of constant micro-management.

Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad the pay, benefits, and office experience worked well for you. To be clear, though, the recent restructure was not targeted at remote employees. It reflected a strategic decision to restructure some of our sales and support operations as we shift how we approach certain segments of the business, both in terms of personnel and platform. The people affected were valued contributors and we recognize their work helped make ZoomInfo what it is today. The suggestion that in-office employees who stayed "don't know what they're doing" simply isn't accurate. Additionally, we go hard at the end of every month (which is true across SaaS sales broadly) but would push back on the characterization of the culture. Our employee engagement team works hard to make that sprint enjoyable, with in-office lunches and activities. Sales is a high-pressure environment by nature, and we're proud of the culture we've built around it. We appreciate you sharing your perspective, even where we see it differently. – Stephen Antuna, ZoomInfo SVP of Account Management
