They terminated me via a form letter with no explanation or reasons. I had just received a great note back from one of the editors (within an hour or less) about how much they enjoyed my work and were looking forward to working with me again, which was really confusing. In general, the editors liked my work and published it with no need for revisions. But there was one editor that nitpicked everything I submitted, sometimes with revisions that didn't adhere to the Style Guide. Articles took much longer than you'd initially think due to outline requirements that must be submitted, formatting, and the need to add your own photos. Plan for in excess of 10 hours per Feature, which comes out to less than $25 per hour.
