Pros
Committed, all-in faculty in staff that truly care about their customers: the students. Honestly, I have never seen such an across-the-board demonstration of commitment to the success of their customers (the students) at any other organization in my employment history. That level of care is contagious.
Cons
Understandably, employment cuts have occurred due to shrinking enrollment; however, while the number of employees has decreased significantly, performance expectations of the remaining employees have increased due to the fact that the same number of services and deliverables are still in place. The result is an over-burdened workforce showing signs of burnout. I have given the rating of 3 stars because I believe ZSC is experiencing the same challenges as comparable institutions, but the leadership is also handling those challenges too often like comparable institutions. A 5-star rating would require 5-star leadership decisions.
