Pros

1) Remote working opportunity 2) Flexible working hours due to remote position. 3) Salary was industry standard

Cons

1) Not really a startup, rather startup-corporation with different departments and mid managers who's only job is to supervise 2) Lack of communication because of above. Both between the departments (like commercial and operational) and also because of the remote environment. Many time there was miscommunication. 3) Everything needed to be agreed with the direct manager/supervisor. No trust into the specialists they hired. 4) All the decisions come from the upper management without asking feedback from the people who are "really on the field". This is fine if we talk about 300+ employees corporation with 20y in business but with a startup whose product/service is constantly changing in order to fit better with the market needs and to offer more value to the customers, this is something that shouldn't be a practice. 5) Team spirit or "locker room effect" seemed to be true only in HQ (Lithuania). All other countries where Ziticity operated this was not true. 6) Due to it being a Lithuanian company you should expect hierarchy and work hard mentality. Which means that you have to work a lot without any praise of sorts. Not normal practice in startups where it's usually "work hard, play hard" 7) Very high rate in burnout and employee turnover. Most ex employees been working there for less than a year. 8) Career progressment is same as it is with traditional old school company. Which means that if you don't work in HQ or don't have good relationships with the upper management, you hardly get any career progression. 9) You have to work hard and be motivated without having any extra motivation from the management (bonuses, good words etc) 10) Cheap attitude. Every cent counted, even if it was well spent cent. For example, they let go many good employees without even offering them a raise. 11) Main focus seemed to impress/show value to the investors rather to the clients who actually pay money/bring revenue. 12) Selfish attitude - you should expect to work hard and if you work overtime then it's not compensated nor recognized. Also the most selfish or rather cocky attitude was the attitude that we know the best and if someone doesn't like it they can leave. This goes to employees and clients. Therefore they lost many good employees and clients which is funny because many times we heard that company is on tight budget and needs more revenue. Even though the management was the one who made the decisions that lost both employees and clients.
