If you are a brown nose, you may do OK. Otherwise, plan on making $12,000/ year and hating it. - Sales Representative ZEE Medical Employee Review

Pros

You can plan your schedule to a point. Company van.

Cons

In Chicago/Wisconsin area, stay away. Management filters territories in order to feed business to their personal favorites, thus, determining your success and paycheck. They will always be able to point out something that you are not doing to their expectations and have that to hold over your head. If you are not one of their favorites, you will be miserable. They have no desire to retain employees as they do not want anyone to take any time off. I had 5 weeks PTO and they want you to use it in order to be paid on holidays. No advancement. They hire management from the outside.

Pros

Zee Medical is a great job to start off with out of college to get outside sales experience. They give you a vehicle with a gas card so you don't have to worry about a vehicle expense. The territories are very big and guarded just for you. Management is very helpful and tries to provide all the tools necessary to do your job better. McKesson also provides excellent Health Care Benefits.

Cons

Long hours, even longer driving hours, low pay...I made around $1,500.00 to $2,500 per month average before taxes, but it's straight commission averaging around 18% of your sales (my goal was 16K monthly), you sometimes have to be a bill collector so you won't get charged back. Very little opportunity for advancement. My manager was awesome and he had been in the same postion for 21 years without advancement and told me he was frustrated because they were paying people more coming in the door than they were for his salary when his team always made goal every month and had been with the company so long. Also, you have to do a ton of paperwork, inventory and van reloading that takes 4-6 hours extra per-week with no compensation.
