      Pros

      I've been working at Yowza Animation for a while now, and I can say it's probably one of the most supportive studios I've been with. Awesome time-off policies. There's even one paid day off for months without a stat holiday. I haven't experienced this anywhere else. The benefits package is pretty solid, good health and vision care coverage overall. The leadership team is approachable which I have never expected. I know people probably don't approach HR much because of the anonymous portal but I found her pretty nice and she really took the time to help me and send me resources. I can't say I've had any negative experiences yet.

      While the team is great, remote work comes with fewer casual conversations or social events.

      The reason I decided to write this review is the infuriating review bashing any criticism and denying that anything is wrong with the company. This was without a doubt written by the management / family and only illustrates their level of delusion. I have worked for many studios over the years and am no stranger to crunch-times, but when crunch-time becomes the norm then it's time for reflection. Considering a crazy schedule, extreme stress, mandatory unpaid overtime and no time for social life "normal" is very, very, very sad and speaks volumes about the reviewer.
