- Appalling management from the start, clearly struggling to run anything. - management disappear during busy hours or work in sections that could easily be given to staff to work on, leave staff to fend for themselves but then get annoyed at staff. - Unable to take any criticism, any staff that speak up about issues coincidentally don't get as many shifts in the week. - Absolutely 0 communication from managers. - Head Chef is rude as heck stay away from him!!!!! - Not paying staff on time but also not communicating the situation - Gives half of the staff little to no hours a week as if people don't have bills to pay. If we wanted pocket money we would go do chores at home - Any staff that have handed notices in have had hours cut and not been paid on time - as if being punished????? - Managers are really cliquey - extremely unprofessional - Started off with job roles but quickly changed so that everyone was FOH, managers would take over on the coffee machine and bar instead of being actual managers, never seen such poorly made drinks in my life..... Such little care - Worlds weakest matcha goes to Yorks Cafe Id also like to mention the time when one of the co owners decided it would be a great idea to write a blog post (thinking no one would find out) about Yorks essentially slagging off all the staff members as if the managers are going such an incredible job.
