Favoritism across the company is very apparent. Individuals that do not work in the corporate headquarters office are often looked over when it comes to promotions and increases. Managers and senior leadership will say its based on merit and work done but n my experience, this doesn’t hold true.
Also, the salary isn’t as competitive as the company makes it seem. They stack your benefits in the backend to compensate for the lack of base pay. HR will continue to say it’s competitive based on the area market but that’s what they are suppose to do.
The one thing that the company thrives on is marketing the “culture” of the company. Yes, 4 years ago, the culture was amazing! However, with more acquisitions come growth. Growth can sometimes hurt “culture” and it’s happening before our eyes but senior leadership seem to be oblivious to that statistic.
Also, with a growing TECH COMPANY, you would think the possibility to work remotely would present itself. Even individuals with a consultant title can’t work remotely. They’ve implemented flex time to try and steer away from remote work but it’s not the same. Yes, you have flexibility on when you come and leave, but that’s isn’t WORKING FROM HOME!
