While working here and trying to recover from some severe health problems, my manager called me in to discuss the quality of my work. And that was fair - at the time I was suffering from massive fatigue and brain fog.
I don't like sharing with just anyone about my health complication but in this instance it was unavoidable. So I explained my situation to her.
Rather than respond in an understanding or supportive way, she simply said, "Well it's possible you may never recover from this. You have to accept that and move on."
I was taken aback but didn't say anything as I needed the work. I couldn't understand how or why she could so casually suggest I had to accept my absolute worst nightmare.
Yardi obviously doesn't give a damn about the wellbeing of its employees and just sees them as work horses. I'm much happier now that I no longer work there.
