Pros
The Senior leaders really care about YA, it's people and its success and are very dedicated. The CEO is one of the hardest working CEO's I've had the pleasure to work with. He is very honest, supportive and truly cares about his team. He listens to their ideas and has an open door policy. He is available and makes time for anyone who needs/wants to talk to him. He pursues excellence tirelessly and leads by example. He also cares about the greater community and serves on several boards and supports/encourages YA's efforts in the community at large.
The Senior Leadership Team is made up of a great group of people that are committed to YA's success. They make sure that YA employees have what they need to be successful and are creative and thoughtful in their strategic planning. All are very approachable, transparent and work to create a culture of open dialogue and communication. In addition, while they work hard, they want to have fun along the way and are committed to creating and participating in monthly fun events for employees. They truly model and exemplify YA's values.
Cons
Because we aren't a large company, there are not as many defined opportunities/career paths for advancement in some of the roles.
