Pros

Decent benefits and decent pay, and xometry swag is actually halfway decent. Lots of big ideas, but 1% only get traction. Ok Medical Bad dental Ok Vision Standard 3% match on 401k Stock options that only start taking effect after being here a year, and are in full vested after 4 years.

Cons

The Quality Management team presents as personable and approachable; however, the management approach is highly documentation-driven and often feels adversarial rather than supportive. Conversations are frequently documented in ways that do not fully align with how they were experienced by employees, which can erode trust. Concerns about workload have, at times, been met with Performance Improvement Plans framed as development opportunities. In practice, this can feel punitive and discouraging. Verbal feedback does not always align with subsequent written documentation, creating confusion around expectations and performance standing. Work/life balance is a serious concern. Extended workweeks of 60–80 hours are common, not exceptional. While candidates may be told there are natural ebbs and flows in workload, the reality is a consistently high-pressure environment with ongoing urgent priorities and limited relief. Overall, the expectations and pace may only be sustainable for those prepared to operate in a persistently high-stress environment with limited structural support.

Pros

Can only speak for the product side of things: Good amount of smart people with diverse backgrounds. There is a lot of space to make an impact on the product. Many parts of the product are not at their potential so there is potential for huge company wins. Starting to hit our stride in terms of how we think about opportunities, product ideas, and implementation. Pace is fast but manageable. Will keep your mind fresh.

Cons

Occasional alignment chaos but it is definitely getting better as we create better operating models. Ambiguities sometimes manifests in teams rowing in slightly different directions. Coworkers can be pretty direct to a fault. Org needs to work on team mentality and just generally being respectful of each other in every way.

Pros

- Flex PTO was nice - Decent work life balance - Remote work

Cons

- When I received my promotion I was told that I would get back pay for the start of the year, they cancelled that and only gave us stock options -HR messed up my W2 more than once, AND DIDN'T PAY me one time. They accidentally switched my role to hourly when I was a salaried employee. - My manager promised I promotion that came a year late with a 2% salary increase.. - There was no growth trajectory - My manager lied to me on multiple occasions
