Pros
If you're looking to cut your teeth in the publishing industry, don't mind extremely early hours and can deal with challenging personalities, try to hang in there for a year max or you might need therapy.
Cons
Extreme micromanaging, the lion's share of work gets dumped on a few employees while others float in and out as they please, the owner/publisher is impossible to please and passive aggressive (along with overtly sexist, racist, the list goes on), the extreme hours for some employees (6 am to put out an enews) are ridiculous and unsustainable, and there is no opportunity for growth or promotion.
