Pros
Get to work with decent technology, laptops issued are powerful
Cons
Pay is not good unless you get a competing offer or potentially join with experience. Security is incredibly frustrating. Most browser plugins are arbitrarily blocked. Can only get software from Company Portal. Rarely get to work on higher level or more difficult tasks to build experience. Senior Developers are not helpful, and some are outright hostile to junior devs. Like many jobs, they're starting to require you to be in office more and more. It's up to 2 days/week now, but I'm sure it will increase. The office is incredibly difficult to work in for people with sensory issues because it is very loud, the floors bounce with every step people take, lights are very bright etc.
