Pros

Everyone seems to be very nice. Breaks are flexible and time off is given when earned and needed. Managers seem to really care about workers. I will tell you straight up that George is one of the greatest leaders you could ask for. He likes people and really appreciates what his workers do. He is also demanding like any other leader. Common sense runs strong in this leadership and they will discuss the brutal facts and talk about risk. They leave no stone unturned and are relentless at solving problems. They care about the level of service that they provide to customers over just about everything. The place is absolutely spotless. It has a recycling program. The profit sharing is awesome. The United site is terrific and informative about happenings of the company. The ties to United Way and Toys For Tots will make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. This company does not run from charity like so many others do. They give back and because of this it inspires it's employee's to do the same. Promoting from within is common and it's nice. The growth is a pro, all the way.

Cons

Hearing a lot of complaints about pay and lack of raises. A promotion should always accompany a raise. If a worker is a good worker and being moved because of it, that is not a lateral move. They have a skill and it's needed elsewhere for a more important project. However, I have not met one person that does not like WWT in the company and are not passionate about it. Even the bad days are good days. Consider replacing the appraisal system with a reward system based from individual training plans that cover cross functional training by department and eventually career goals. Put individual milestones in place for the worker and let them know this is what you get when you reach this. Let them own their own training and let them stay on the supervisors/managers to get them cross trained effectively so they can reach that milestone, get a raise, and make our company more flexible and talented. Company relies to much on non-systematic communication for customer requirements, implement CCR's into product realization for every job. Customers dictate un-levelness. This is the nature of the business. This creates a chaotic environment. Embracing change is great, but managing that change and collaborating it effectively is difficult task that we struggle with. ANY company would at this rate though. We will never give up and will strive for perfection even though we know we'll never achieve it.

Pros

Remote work was nice. Pay and benefits were decent.

Cons

- Toxic, toxic, toxic - Zero work life balance - Lots of back stabbing going on. Too many management changes. Everyone has to claw for things in a negative way to get anywhere. - Bro culture and a company founder who prays and preaches at company meetings? That should NEVER happen. - No inclusivity. They say DEI is important but when the leaders are praying and seemingly right wing that doesn't reflect. - "Great Place to Work" is a total scam. They basically make you do it, talk about it constantly, remind you to take the surveys, even say how to rate. It's disingenuous. - Over-worked and ran PM's too thin, then when you get too burned out to do your job effectively you're not supported. I was running multiple projects during the day and had another project that required 12 am, 2am meetings as it was an Asian customer. I had no balance, no sleep, zero support. Instead of mitigating it, they wrote me up because I forgot something trivial (so trivial I don't even remember what it was). I was so stressed my hair literally fell out! I was so grateful to have another company headhunt me so that I could quit. TOXIC!
