Pros

Culture - leadership focuses on building and maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and humble culture and it shows from the top down. The people I work with are so incredibly smart and genuinely stellar human beings. In addition, no one rests on their laurels and are continuously finding ways to improve their work in the best interest of the client. Diversity - Workshop celebrates diversity in thought, person, background, culture, etc. Results - Workshop drives great results for their clients! Leadership - Having access to leadership is not something I knew I would come to value, but it has been helpful and rewarding. The co-founders are both humble and willing to get their hands dirty. They have been transparent, understanding, and are outstanding people to get to know. They also genuinely take an interest in you as a person, which means a lot. Management - I truly believe the senior members of this company are what make Workshop a special place to work and one of the company's best assets. They are so smart, so humble, and are amazing people to work with and to know on a personal level. I personally struggled with depression and ongoing burnout throughout COVID and my manager was not only understanding and accommodating, but worked with me to find ways to solve my challenges. Work-Life Balance - Management regularly encourage taking PTO Variety - Can be a con for some, but being your own account manager, project manager, and analyst means getting a whole bunch of experience in a variety of areas. Very helpful for learning and growing as a professional. Pay - Leadership recently improved pay bands to remain competitive, which is absolutely the right move to make to attract and retain talent. Pay can always be better but they're going about it in the right way, imo. Business model - Monthly fee model takes pressure off analysts to get clients to spend more when it's not always needed. Client selection - Sales is picky with what kind of clients get brought on and don't simply chase money. Core values - Everyone adheres to the core values of the company and treats clients and each other with respect. The transparency we show in all facets of the business is refreshing and every other company should take note!

Cons

The industry - Not a con for the company, but the digital advertising industry is a hot mess, and dealing with the platforms can seem like trying to build a plane while flying it.

Pros

Amazingly talented team members, incredibly interesting clients, endlessly engaging service capabilities.

Cons

Overworked employees, extremely excessive admin bloat, constantly disruptive internal communications, unecessarily complex internal training, bloated new-hire training documentation, unmaintained internal knowledge-base, overly burdensome and extremely repetitive documentation practices, poor understanding and far-too-early adoption of emerging AI technologies. Overbearing "this is what I did" repetitive, copy-and-paste, repeat documentation, re-purposed level-of-effort, and extremely slow consideration and often non-starter determinations on new service offerings, Yet, the core employee team is so talented and smart and amazing.
