Pros
Career opportunities are good.
Salaries are decent.
There are some nice individuals within the business.
Cons
Awful, awful dictatorship style management from the top down. Massive labour turnover. An utterly ridiculously political environment.
Some leaders in the business are more concerned with escalating their own image and financial worth within the business and they are happy to use you as cannon fodder.
Lied to, on a number of occasions. Told there would be a secure job for us after restructures, only to find out some of our jobs had already been recruited for and then individuals previously told there would be a place for them at WN have then been made redundant.
They literally couldn't care less about your wellbeing if they tried... They have just launched a wellbeing charter - which would be great. However on recent group meetings there has even been ridiculous things like a 'car park hierarchy' where the senior people in the business get to park closer to the door, and the minions have to park further down the car park. Awful, awful, awful, toxic and damaging environment.
