Supporting the mission of the food bank is essential work and the staff truly cares about the people they serve.

The director is disorganized and resists assistance or input from both hourly employees and senior management. They are stuck in their past ways and are not willing to utilize their employees skills to their advantage. They refuse to update their organization’s policies to adhere to industry standards and best practices. Promotion and growth are also discouraged by the constant staff turnover leaving the director scrambling to fill positions externally rather than promoting from within.
