Pros
Developers you work with on a day to day basis are nice and want to do things the right way.
Cons
Ever since the acquisition from private equity, the company has been cutting costs and corners as much as possible. Hiring developers from India as quickly as possible without properly interviewing them to replace US workers, cutting 401k contributions and slowly removing other benefits. It seems like the company is only focused on trying to have the highest valuation before being sold and will do everything in their power, including sacrificing the short and long term quality of their product. Layoffs were announced after a very positive year where the company hit its goals and some. In the meantime, people were still interviewing for promotions even up to a week before layoffs were announced. Some managers also seem woefully unequipped to lead developer teams.
