Pros

Fully remote, great benefits, pay is good. Customer success team is awesome, people genuinely want to help each other and everyone handles a similar workload, it doesn’t feel unbalanced at all. Wizehire often promotes from within instead of going with an outside hire for CS roles. Leadership is very open about everything- the successes and the struggles. We have company meetings multiple times a month where there is full transparency on the state of the business. I feel trusted by my manager and am given plenty of autonomy to do my role. I believe in our product and our mission to help small businesses find top talent.

Cons

Being fully remote, not knowing many people outside of my team. And then the pains of a start up, priorities are shifting often but for the right person it’s an exciting place to work.

Pros

Smart and Talented Team: Over the past two years, the company has brought in some incredibly smart folks who truly understand the challenges and dynamics of startup work life. This has significantly improved the quality of work, speed, and collaboration. Commitment to Improvement: Despite the tough decisions and layoffs that many companies (especially in HRTech) are experiencing right now, there is a clear focus on improvement, sustainabiity, and steering the company in the right direction. Flexibility and Innovation: The company encourages innovation and flexibility in work, which can be very rewarding for those who are creative and proactive.

Cons

Cultural Challenges: They are slowly figuring out the best ways to create a culture that is as transparent and warm as they aspire to. There's room for improvement in fostering a more open environment. Communication Gaps: Communication from leadership could be more transparent at times, especially during periods of strategic change. Past Layoffs: The layoffs over the past two years have been tough on everyone and created some uncertainty. But it seems as though the company is stabilizing and moving in a positive direction.
