I left a good role to join this company as I believed in what they're trying to do.
I didn't see the writing on the wall.
Less than 4 weeks in experienced members of staff left. They're start up this is a big red flag.
After the first month (which i was trained on their product, processes etc) i was then selling and demoing Juno.
I was only selling for 2 weeks and the CEO had already started having meetings with the sales team about performance.
We were then micro managed on every single activity, called out in front of the whole team. It wasn't a good experience.
By week 6 of employment i was let go from Juno along with the whole sales team- reason being because of performance. It was absurd. Again i had only been selling for less than 3 weeks.
The ceo doesn't understand that tech sales can take a minimum of 1-2 months for deals to close. And at the time it was q4 calendar year, often businesses evaluate products with a view of spending their allocated budget in January- this buying behaviour leads to a good quarter the following year.
Again due to the CEO's lack of understanding around saas and tech sales he didnt believe this. Despite knowing I had over half a decade in software sales and he still wasn't convinced.
Future employment opportunities have been harmed by this too, this job op has tarnished my cv.
please don't work for this company its incredibly risky and I don't want anyone to be in this situation in the future.
They're a wellbeing company touting the importance of it yet they can't even do it for their own staff.
If Juno is being ran by someone else it may pay off, but with the current ceo at the helm its bad and will only lead to people being hired and fired and peoples lives being seriously damaged as a result.
