Pros
-Mission -Working with small business owners to provide assistance, support, and access to capital for business dreams.
Cons
-no interest in supporting professional development or growth for career path – you will not be provided with opportunities to contribute in a meaningful way to improve or expand the function of your role, and you will be chastised for ‘stepping out of your lane’ when you try. -lack of salary increases (minimal opportunity to increase salary, so make sure you can live long-term on your original salary offer). -hyper-focused on deliverables. -PTO is pretty minimal -turnover is a huge issue and causes a constant burden on remaining staff, and also decreases the quality of service the clients deserve. -disconnected leadership team that is in denial about the stability of their infrastructure, their own ability to create a positive workplace experience, and their culpability and complicity in creating a toxic workplace. -not a lot of trust in this workplace right now for good reason: those in leadership roles need to step back and honestly assess their communication. If you aren't part of the "cool kids" clique, they will make up their own interpretation of what you did or did not say in a meeting, and then you will get reprimanded for something they made up. NO accountability for them, either. -leadership considers employees to be disposable.
