Pros

Good work-life balance. Huge campuses. Was part of part of ATG Mobility CoE. If you are really confident and full of idea's you are encouraged to experiment with your ideas. Supervisors and managers really encourage you to do better. But, then again, that's team dependent. One the whole, Wipro is a pretty employee friendly company.

Cons

Stingy with salary. Wipro has innovative ways to not pay you money they owe you. There's QPLC, which cuts your monthly salary based on performance of your domain. I still don't understand how you link domain performance with employee performance. Then there UFC, which is a techical exam that has to be cleared annually to be considered for salary hike for that year. Even if you clear the exam, consider yourself lucky if you get any hike at all.

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
