Pros
-Some colleagues are nice and easy to work with -Learning how not to scale a startup -Learning how to market your startup idea -Work life balance can be good for many but not all workers
Cons
-Middle management is so incompetent and unqualified that you won't be able to work cheaply, fast or right (with quality). -The company culture is not suitable for startups. In fact, there is no company culture or vision. -Micromanagement and top down approach to everything. Employees are seen as nothing more than robots in a production line. -Managers don't know how to interview because they don't know what values/culture and BS to screen for. In the end, random people are hired. -Salaries are not based on supply and demand or performance or position or experience, only negotiation. Only managers can be well paid and as a result, fake title inflation is through the roof. -Many employees are just there to to clock in, take orders and get paid. They don't learn or improve their skills or care.
