Pros
As long as you're decent at the job, you're left to your work without managers bothering you all the time. Safety manager takes his job seriously which is reassuring. Fairly easy to get used to the job.
Cons
People Advisor is unbearably incompetent. Never helpful and had an unwelcoming demeanor. He even felt the need to insult the Irish people when I met with him (neither he nor I are Irish). Just unprofessional. Work can be monotonous. They drag their feet on fixing basic things that would make the operation run more smoothly. For example, they have a card system for turning on the machines, but almost no one has a card that works. I raised the issue multiple times, but they seem determined, for whatever reason, to not fix the cards. Also, some machines, through they drive well, develop a very loud rattle. Working with that rattle for eight hours in a day can drive you crazy, and they were always very slow to fix that.
