Pros

There are a few pro: - A vast platform for Health and Safety recording and managing - Trainings are being provided on request - Wages for management are not that bad compared to other companies -

Cons

Everything in pro, becomes a con, because: - Health and Safety tends to be over looked when the operations are at risk of failure (been put in that scenario multiple times) - Trainings although offered, most times you're not allowed time to complete and must do on your time off if you want to take it seriously. Besides, most are generic corporate-lingo trainings - The wages may be OK for management, but anyone lower than a First Line Manager gets pennies, while everyone higher than an Operations Manager receive ridiculously high wages. - Management doesn't care about PTO's. If they can control your life, they will. They don't care about YOU. I have heard sentences like "well, she shouldn't have 2 kids then" while the planning manager declined her PTO. - Company doesn't care about your mental health, your general health, your situation, anything about you. You must perform 110% at all times. If you don't, you will be invited for a DP hearing. - The HR is not your friend. They are there to protect the company's interest and reputation. I had investigations and meetings where I got told between private eyes to try and dig a person down as much as possible so he/she can get dismissed. - No tools for people to work, at least where I worked. Scanners from early 2000, bad locations, old equipment, bad overall senior management yet you're being chased for your teams KPI'S. - All about money, revenue. The pressure is being put even on Team Leaders and warehouse operatives about how much the company is earning or losing. Things they shouldn't worry about, not their jobs. - No activities for staff. Nothing to unwind from time to time. Just constant pressure. - Toxic work environment over all. People digging each other constantly from big to small. - Untrained management. As I said, trainings are available. But nobody will do them as they won't have time while the senior management is pressuring them. Some "managers" can't even manage their own lives. - Poor communication between corporate and operations. Poor communication overall. - Generally nothing good will come out of working there. You may get sacked because they don't like your face, or because they don't like your attitude. They don't like being challenged for every bad decision they take. - No respect for the customers. They charge customers for promised work that doesn't get done, thousands of pounds every month. - Nothing ever gets done.
