Pros
Pay better then most in the same line of work. Health care for starting at 25 hours a week. ESOP. I put nothing into this and it is getting larger by the day.
Cons
Feels like you are in high school. You can't trust any of your co workers. Any one and everyone is ready to stab you in the back. You can be the best at what you do but it is all forgotten if you slip up. You spend more time there then you do with your own family, you feel like these people are your "friends". Everyone here exploits that. This company has changed so much from when I was hired 6 years ago, and I fell not in a positive direction. We are becoming Walmart without the tvs and cloths. It is really hard to find people that I work with that truly care about their craft and want to better the company. 99% don't care or want to do the bare minimum or push their work on to you. Advancement is also not what you know, it is who you know. Many in management should not be where they are because they do not posses the skills to lead. They are also hypocritical. More of a do as a say not as I do. Definitely management feeds the hog. I also have never worked for a company where having a backbone is a negative. Till working for WinCo. If you are in a leadership position and hold people accountable, you will loose your position. It has happened to me.
