Pros

The people are what makes this job so great. Wilson has allowed a really good environment where there's a good work life balance. I have always been surrounded by wonderful leaders, and managers so even when the cons below might stick out, there's a reason I stay here!

Cons

- Some of the Numbers expected to hit can be lofty when our sales cycles are often 3-6 or 6+ months, since we work with low voltage folks. (hoops they have to jump through to close a deal) - Sometimes I think folks don't know what we really do all day. There are tasks that we have to manage that really eat at your day, and takes more time away from us selling, but if we don't do it - it doesn't get done, and customers don't get taken care of. - There is inconsistency internally (I think this is right hand not talking to the left) ** All in all, the above would not cause me to leave.

Pros

I like that we're in one building now but that has its pros and cons

Cons

We spent a ton of money building a new manufacturing facility in Saint George, UT. Problem is, we're losing to competition. They're doing it faster and cheaper. Our costs are much higher, our quality is no longer that much better, and competitors have quickly caught up with our ideas. Management cries about competitors stealing our IP rather than innovating and staying ahead of the curve. We're losing to the competition and I'm afraid layoffs and further downsizing are imminent.
