Nice - Host Wild Ginger Employee Review

The money is great. On average you can make anywhere between 50-200 dollars in tips. Most of the customers are really nice. They are really flexible with your work schedule.

The manager isn't very professional. Sometimes the work schedules aren't known until literally the day before (it would be nice if I could know what days I work, within 1 1/2- 2 weeks notice). Also, the pay checks are given face-to-face. The company does not do direct-deposit.

Great food, mostly friendly coworkers

Uncaring management, no breaks given, yelled at for taking lunch even after completely emptying dish pit with relief in the pit. Higher ups do not care about you at all. If an employee from a different station, in my case a line cook, yell at you or mistreat you, its on you not them and they receive no punishment. 90% of coworkers are friendly and helpful, but the 10% that aren't are not held accountable. Management will stack countless tasks outside your job description and keep you after hours without additional pay. Horrible place to work
