Pros
Working in the Media Department was the best job I could have asked for right out of college. I really like the training process they have in place. It’s efficient and allows you to gain responsibility at the company fairly quickly. You will be working on your first day. You won't be sitting around waiting for something to do. The Media Director is not a micro manager. You get trained and then you get to manage your own tasks and time. With that being said, the team will always have your back when you need help. This department also has a great work/life balance. I was never asked to work outside of business hours. I also like the fact that this department is extremely adaptable to change. We were constantly evolving and making processes more efficient. You have the power to suggest change as well. I made life long friends in this department and it was one of the hardest goodbyes I had to make. This is definitely a position where I felt like I was important, and it gave me confidence in my professional life. I learned how to negotiate and how to actually use excel. This team also knows how to have fun. Expect some birthday lunch margaritas and Friday afternoon beers. Some general perks of Whitehardt: - They pay 100% of your healthcare (for real) and it is good healthcare. - You get a raise and a bonus every year.
Cons
Communication with other departments can be difficult.
