Pros

The culture at Whirlpool and particularly at GTEC ER&D center at Pune encourages open communication and teamwork, which fosters creativity and innovation with perfect work life balance. The company is truly committed to Pursuit of Improving Life at Home. I have been associated with the company for more than 15+ years. I have had the opportunity to work on diverse projects, Departments that challenge me and allow me to contribute meaningfully to the organization’s objectives.  Management is approachable and genuinely cares about employee development, offering various training programs and opportunities for advancement. They are fully committed to mutual Respect, Integrity, Inclusion and Diversity, One Whirlpool and the Spirit of Winning. Company also supports and promotes employees' career paths through various upskilling and cross functional career options. At the same time commitment to employee "Well-Being" is evident through various wellness programs and flexible working arrangements.

Cons

Areas that could benefit from enhancement, particularly in cross-departmental communication. Improving the flow of information between teams would undoubtedly increase efficiency.

Pros

Strong brand recognition and quality products. A bunch of great people.

Cons

Cult-like relationships: if you didn't grow up in Benton Harbor...Your boss did. I was recruited based on more than 25 years of multifamily housing experience and long-standing industry relationships. After joining, I discovered a substantial portion of my responsibilities involved government and commercial laundry accounts, which were not my area of expertise and were not what I expected from the interview process. The company appeared to place greater emphasis on standardized account management than leveraging established customer relationships and industry networks. For professionals hired because of their market knowledge and connections, this may be frustrating.
