Pros
- Ability to work from different countries where Wheely has an office (7 cities!)
- International and diverse team
- Supportive and skilled colleagues
- I have a great manager who is passionate about their work and leads several teams
- Strong onboarding through Wheely Academy with real immersion into the product and service standards
- Nice perks like lunches, learning budget, ride allowance, business trips, and medical insurance
You should also be ready for a startup-style environment. Things move fast, features are built and released quickly, and the pace is high. If you are coming from a large company, it may take some time to adjust. Not all processes are fully established, and some things are being introduced for the first time.
Cons
- The office atmosphere depends a lot on the people around you. In some teams it feels relaxed and fun, in others it can be more tense.
- I would like to have more remote days. Right now there is only one, and the office is not in the city center, so commuting takes extra time.
- Teams are not always fully staffed. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for new people to join, and at times take on tasks outside your main role because of limited resources.
- There are not many corporate events and the budget for team buildings is quite limited.
