Pros
Good teams start with great people. I can't rave enough about the folks on the team and the work they do for WC's clients. The feedback from partners is that the company's service and product offerings are strong, but it is the execution and dedicated support delivered by the team that has built long-term partnerships. People here keep focus where it needs to be with defined ownerships and goals, help and support each other, and make work enjoyable and engaging.
People at WC get the opportunity to learn, grow, and take calculated risks. There's trust in your abilities and work. There's belief that you can and will meet the challenges that present themselves, even if that means you grow outside of your job description. Leadership wants and expects you to carry the ball in big moments, and does its best to make sure credit is placed where due as wins happen.
Having just wrapped up 2020, I think it's fair to highlight that this team was super supportive of each other beyond business hours. That's absolutely huge.
Cons
The company, though established and stable, still requires folks to maintain start-up mindsets in my opinion based on these factors:
1. It is not uncommon to wear multiple hats. This may or may not appeal to some folks, so honesty upfront is the best approach for all.
2. It is not uncommon to have to lean in with extra hours/effort from time to time as the needs of customers and the business dictate. But work-life balance is there and championed by leadership. While you may be asked to give of your time when absolutely needed in rare occasions, you will be thanked and pushed to make up for it.
