Pros
Amazing people who care for our students (mostly counselors and ministry minded people). Beautiful main campus in Portland which is strongly connected to the neighborhood. Solid theology that lives itself out in relationships. Strong new leadership will hopefully steer us wisely for decades. If you need health insurance and want tuition credits that's available. It's a fun environment of dedicated people who make the most of shoe-string budgets.
Cons
Understaffed departments are very concerning. Entry level jobs (i.e., maintenance, advising, admissions, admin) are all paid extremely low. If you don't need the health insurance, you are not compensated for it. Tuition credits build up slowly over 3 years to the maximum amount with different level available depending on how many hours your work each week. Lack of flexibility in some departments for perks like flexible work hours, working from home, being a counseling student while working full-time, etc.
