      I have been able to gain a wealth of experience during my time conducting research in materials science that has helped me get interviews in the current job market.

      Cons

      The pay is low and makes living in Morgantown a bit expensive, but tuition is waived.

      Pros

      good pay for this role in the area. very flexible working schedule. full autonomy with a lot of decision making. A lot of technical progress if you love to learn what your facility does. Health care plan is free for employee with $1000 deductible which is impressively nice.

      Cons

      not really cons, just comparing to university's 28 days sick leave, WVU research corp provide no sick leave. Only PTO.
