Pros

Good health benefits Smaller company Nice incentives Good pay

Cons

West Shore has Horrible sales management. They run the place on fear tactics. Horrible turnover, employees feel like they are going to be fired at any second. Several told me that they felt they had to have a “plan B” at all times because they didn’t know if they would be fired today. CEO is rude. Don’t bother saying hello in the hallway. He will just look and you and keep walking. Initial training for inside sales consists of being convinced by management to drink the West Shore Kool-aid and lots of role playing. Once that is over you are thrown to the wolves on the phone and expected to know how to use the computer system after having never been exposed to it in training. If you want to work there don’t expect it to be long term.

Pros

Compensation when they don’t alter your commissions for stupid reasons!

Cons

Upper management does not care about the person. They tout retention but it never applies to the sales team. They have an unwritten cycle. Work 3 yrs then give you crap leads and bring in new dc’s. Sales managers do not take “coaching plans” seriously. Just a way to cycle you out.
