Pros
Extremely flexible hours - A proposed roster was put up 2 weeks in advance so you could cancel shifts completely or exchange for others as well as take on more shifts if you wanted since it's a busy store, trading hours were longer.
Cons
Extremely busy store with multiple rushes throughout the day especially lunch, dinner and late night. Especially after we started doing Uber Eats, a lot of orders everywhere for 6 people on average. Lack of staff - I almost never left on time, would usually leave a couple hours after because they had no one to take over my position. More often than not, I found myself not only taking the orders, doing payment, making drinks but also packing the orders and making the burgers too. Customers - On the regular, we've had big groups of people show up without calling in advance during rush hours and just before closing time. The doors would be locked, the dining room lights will be off, customers will visually see you vacuuming the floor and still knock on the door asking for you to let them in so they can order something. Rude and messy customers with the occasional sexual harassment. Staff room - Our "staff room" is a small corner in the back with half a table, two chairs, a set of hooks on the wall with a computer where they store the supplies, that is also the place where newbies do there first part of orientation. Cleaning - When we did get lucky and had little to no customers, don't think assume you can just relax, the managers will always find you something to clean, I've been asked to climb a ladder and clean the ceiling multiple times. Regardless of how much we clean, the place still looks the same.
