Pros
The main store manager was fantastic to work with. I can't say enough good things about his leadership skills and ability to resolve any issues I had while at work with scheduling or otherwise. By and large I enjoyed meeting and getting to know the people I have during my tenure there, a few of which have become close friends of mine. Most of the people I have worked with are decent and hardworking people who are honest to a fault at this job.
Cons
While the majority of my co-workers are pleasant enough to work with, the department management is in dire need of a reality check in certain parts of the store. The apathy of some of the department managers is blatantly apparent and a few need to understand that they are actually supposed to work rather than pawn their share of the work onto those working under them. Unfortunately most employees at the bottom of the ladder are treated poorly and pay raises are infrequent and inadequate when they finally occur. The company as a whole seems to be much more concerned about covering it's legal bases rather than actually showing concern for it's employees. Most people get the distinct impression that they are a number rather than a valued member of the staff.
