Pros
The atmosphere is clean, upbeat, and interesting to work in. Many of the people who are working are friendly and fun to work with, and the customers are thrilled to be shopping there for the most part. Management is more than happy to place you in a department you are interested in and will encourage you to explore other areas of the store. Workload can be challenging at times, but if your department is team-oriented it can be satisfying. Although pay is mediocre, benefits package is attractive as well as pay-raises if you are under good management. As a young person, I personally this is a solid place to work "for the mean time" if you u are planning to find a career elsewhere.
Cons
You will find many of the same frustrating challenges that come with working at any major retailer or food-industry related job. This company has a saddening turn-over rate despite what they'd like you to believe. Depending on your store location or department the people you work with can make or break your experience here. Expect to work hard and to be at times underpaid and under acknowledged for you work. Management will put pressure on you to perform at a level you are not being paid at. There are times when working here can be totally disheartening, but if you keep a positive outlook and do your best it can be an OK place to work.
