Pros

Good experience at a tech firm

Cons

Since the UBS fell through Wealthfront is spiraling downwards. They would not admit that they had to cut expenses due to the deal falling through and used other reasons to cut down costs such as employees. They have not rehired for the position ever since. Lack of transparency, making a mistake or falling short on a goal will have the team act like it’s okay and you can pick yourself up from this learning opportunity. They will also make a plan for you on achieving success after falling short. But don’t be surprised if you’re fired the following week. The HR team is meant to be the voice who advocates for employees. They don’t.

Pros

Opportunities for growth. Cool product. Good pay. Remote first culture.

Cons

Stressful. Have to wear a lot of hates. Less coding than I'd like and more project management than I'd like. Layoffs are somewhat common and normalized.
