Pros
Culture not like what you see on the Film and Doc, gone a long way to shed the image of a frat house which is quite refreshing. People coming into the buildings are often great.
Cons
- Some buildings more challenging than others, yet we all get paid the same? Someone in a 1 floor building with 10 accounts getting paid the same as someone looking after 50 accounts across 5 floors doesn't feel fair. Like to throw the "everyone has different challenges" at you when you raise the clear disadvantage. - Reviews mean nothing, performance doesn't reflect promotion. - Company shrinking. Less opportunities. - Progression "selective" some people progress far to fast, some people not fast enough, means often stuck with weaker inexperienced people in mid-senior roles, and the strong candidates end up leaving. - Poor feedback, no one knows how to deliver it, - Lack of transparency over decision making, senior team really not self aware so a lot of progression looks like favouritism, may/may not be, but its their behaviours that lead to this creating a toxic environment during progression cycles. - HR seems very inexperienced, frightened to take action a lot of the time, CM teams poorly trained on people management.
