Pros
Company vehicle, good pay, work on your own unless your metrics are slipping in which case you'll hear from and see your FSM at your jobs often, Dental and Eye benefits are decent. You are on the go instead of stuck in an office and get to meet new people everyday.
Cons
You're schedule will change from 5 day work weeks to 6 days with little to no notice and they will expect you to accommodate no matter if you have plans or not, your family time means very little to them. They will make you drive to the shop weekly and monthly to get equipment and do vehicle audits or for meetings that could've been easily held over Skype or with a simple email. You're only as good to them as your metrics, if those slip then you are called out for it and your job status will be held over your head until your metrics become more satisfactory. You WILL work in every type of inclement weather and road conditions, there are NO days called off for either of those reasons. The only condition that you won't work in is lightening, but in those cases you'll be expects to just wait it out and start work after it's cleared the area, no job rescheduling. Your pay will be based on how good your metrics are. Your company vehicle is likely to look like it just returned form a crash up derby. They will decline your vacation or restrict anyone form taking vacation time if it's too busy and they try to detour you from taking any between May to September.
